Party for the Parks is back on September 22 | Events

DOWNTOWN (WCSC) - A street-festival style party benefiting the Charleston Parks Conservancy is coming back this month for the third straight year.

The 3rd Annual Party for the Parks, Amusement on the Avenue will take place on Ashley Avenue overlooking Colonial Lake on Saturday, September 22 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event will be complete with live music, a laser show, an aerialist and a lakeside fire performance.

In addition to all of the performances the party has to offer, there will also be food from local restaurants such as Amen Street Fish and Raw Bar, La Fouchette, Muse, Nick's Bar-B-Q, Oak Steakhouse and Osteria La Bottiglia.

Folk/rock band Coffee will get the night started with live music, and The Dubplates will hit the stage later in the night.

There will also be a silent auction from 6 to 8:30 p.m., and a live auction beginning at 8:45 p.m.

Tickets for Party for the Parks are $55 in advance and $75 at the door. VIP tickets are $150 and include a $100 donation to the Charleston Parks Conservancy, and access to the VIP party area featuring a lounge, private bar and food by Magnolias, Blossom and Cypress.

The Charleston Parks Conservancy works with more than 25 city parks and green spaces.
