4th Lt. Dan Weekend being held at Citadel's stadium | News
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC/AP) - The fourth annual Lt. Dan Weekend is being held this week in a new city with a new concert venue and a new sponsor.
But what is not new is the purpose - raising money to support wounded vets - and the headliner, actor Gary Sinise, playing with his Lt. Dan Band.
The first three Lt. Dan Weekends were held in Beaufort. This year, the events are being held in Charleston, with Sinise playing at The Citadel's Johnson Hagood Stadium on Saturday night. Boeing is now the title sponsor.
South Carolina's two U.S. senators will be on hand Saturday. Weekender organizers say Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott will bring a Harley Davidson signed by all the members of the Senate to be auctioned for the cause.
The Lt. Dan Band will take the stage at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are still available for $20. Click here to purchase them.
