Hundreds line up for holiday gift card | News
CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC)- Hundreds of people lined up outside the Meeting Street Piggly Wiggly early Monday waiting for a $50 gift card.
The Star Gospel Mission began handing out the cards at 7:30 a.m. at 474 Meeting Street. They ran out of cards a little after 8:30 a.m.
The $50 gift cards can be used at any Piggly Wiggly store to buy food only.
To be eligible, you had to be at least 30 years old and bring a valid picture ID and your social security card.
