Downtown apartment fire ruled accidental | News
The Charleston Fire Department has ruled that a Friday morning apartment fire in downtown Charleston was an accident.
The fire happened around 11 p.m. Thursday on Franklin Street, just off Broad Street.
Firefighters say one person was inside when the blaze started, but they were able to escape safely and only suffered minor injuries.
