Rain and clouds to clear out | Weather

LOWCOUNTRY (WCSC) - Rain and clouds will make way for the sun on Tuesday, says Live 5 Meteorologist Chad Watson:

Rain and clouds will be on the decrease across the Lowcountry today as a frontal system moves in from the north and brings drier air and a return to sunshine. Morning showers will push into the coastal waters by mid-day as temps reach the lower 80s. Most backyards will see some sunshine by late afternoon as highs hit the mid 80s away from the beaches. With lower dew points coming in this evening, it will not be as muggy overnight into Wednesday morning. The heat is going to return later this week with temps back in the 90s and heat index values over 100° this weekend!
