Live 5 Meteorologist Brad Miller says wet weather is just around the corner:
A new work week is upon us, but at least the weather will cooperate for the most part today. High pressure will "hang-on" for one more day, before a cold front heads our way and spreads rain across the area by tomorrow. Expect a clear and quiet start to your Monday, with temps this morning starting out in the mid to upper 60s. We may see a few storms later today, otherwise it will be warm and humid with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Clouds will quickly increase tonight and we'll see a good chance for showers after midnight. Lows will be near 70. Tuesday looks fairly wet with showers and storms likely, especially for the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 80s. The front will take its time to clear the coast, so still a few showers are possible for Wednesday. Drier air should work in by Thursday and looks like nice weather into next weekend.
